How to Dye Easter Eggs Using Silk Scraps:
- Wrap raw white eggs in silk fabric, printed side facing the egg.
- Wrap again in a plain white cloth. Secure both layers with a twist tie, elastic band, or rubber band.
- Place wrapped eggs in a pot and cover with water.
- Add 1/4 cup of white vinegar to the water.
- Bring to a simmer and let cook for 20 minutes.
- Remove eggs from the pot and let them cool.
- Unwrap carefully to reveal the colorful designs.
- For decoration only — do not eat dyed eggs.
